シンポジウム趣旨
日本体育大学コーチデベロッパーアカデミー（NCDA）は、今年度で６年目になりました。スポーツ庁より委託を受けた「スポーツ・アカデミー形成支援事業」の一環として、NCDAはこれまでに世界38カ国90名のコーチデベロッパー育成を行い、それにより、コーチデベロッパーの国際的なネットワークも築いてきました。さらに、シンガポール、ザンビア、パラグアイ、マレーシアといった国々では、NCDA修了生と共にコーチデベロッパー育成のためのプログラムを展開してきました。この形成支援事業は2021年3月に終わりを迎えることが予定されています。
そこで、今年度の国際シンポジウムでは、あまり知られていないNCDAの設立過程とこれまでの事業内容を振り返り、NCDAが携わる海外でのコーチデベロッパー育成プログラム展開や日本でのコーチデベロッパー養成の現状を把握し、さらに2021年3月以降のNCDAの将来的な在り方とその挑戦をNCDA受講生・修了生・来場者の皆様と共に考えていきたいと思います。
コーチ育成に興味がありコーチデベロッパーの役割を知りたいと思っている方々、あるいは現在何らかの形でコーチデベロッパー、「コーチのコーチ」としてコーチ育成に関わっている方々、さらにスポーツ協会・連盟や学校組織でコーチデベロッパーがどのようにしてコーチ育成をよりよいものにできるか疑問に思っている方々など、多くの方々にとって有益な議論がなされるものと思われます。ぜひ奮って、本シンポジウムにご参加いただければ幸いです。
Speakers（登壇者の方々）
Masamitsu Ito is a professor in sports coaching at Nippon Sport Science University in Japan. He is also the director of NSSU Centre for Coaching Excellence and the deputy director of NSSU Coach Developer Academy (NCDA). He is a member of the research committee of the International Council for Coaching Excellence and a first vice president of the Asian Association of Coaching Science. He completed his Ph.D. work in Biomechanics at University of Tokyo, then moved to NSSU, where he devoted to creating Master’s and Ph.D. programs in sports coaching. One of his contributions to the world of coaching practice is the creation of NCDA (http://www.ncda.tokyo) which offers unique professional development opportunities to whom supporting coaches to learn around the world. He has been deeply involved in the reform of Japanese coaching qualification system and leading discussions around quality coach development in Japan. At the same time, he is running a Japanese government funded program to support para-athlete and coach development and creation/capacity-building of national Paralympic committees in developing countries.
伊藤雅充は、日本体育大学で教授を務めている（専門はスポーツコーチング）。日本体育大学コーチングエクセレンスセンターのセンター長および日本体育大学コーチデベロッパーアカデミー（NCDA）副ディレクターも務めている。また、国際コーチングエクセレンス評議会の研究委員会のメンバーであり、アジアコーチング科学協会の第一副会長でもある。東京大学でバイオメカニクス分野で博士号を取得後、日本体育大学に赴任し、スポーツコーチングの修士および博士課程のプログラムの設立に関わった。日本体育大学ではNCDAの設立に尽力し、そのNCDAは現在世界のさまざまな国々でコーチの学びを支援する人々（コーチデベロッパー）に専門分野での成長の機会を提供している。また、日本のコーチ資格制度の改定および日本のコーチ育成に深く関わってきた。また、スポーツ庁より委託を受けたパラアスリートおよびコーチ育成を支援し、発展途上国の国内パラリンピック委員会の設立を支援するプロジェクト（NEPP）を進めている。
John Bales has been the volunteer President of the ICCE since 2005, where he has worked to create a deep and powerful foundation for coaching development around the world. He was CEO for the Coaching Association of Canada for 17 years, the founding director of the National Coaching Institute Calgary and a former Canadian national and Olympic coach in sprint canoeing. John contributed to the initial planning of the NCDA and now serves as a Deputy Director.
ジョン・ベールズ氏は、2005年より国際コーチングエクセレンス評議会（International Council for Coaching Excellence）の会長を務めている。そのなかでは、世界中のコーチ育成に対して深く強固な基礎を作り上げるために尽力してきた。カナダコーチング協会の会長も17年間務め、そのほかにも国立カルガリー・コーチング研究所の初代ディレクターや、オリンピックのスプリントカヌーのカナダ代表チームコーチなどを歴任している。日本体育大学コーチデベロッパーアカデミー（NCDA）では設立にあたり立案や企画において多大なる貢献を果たし、現在は副ディレクターを務めている。
Based in the UK, John Alder is the Head of Performance Pathways at UK Sport / English Institute of Sport (EIS), leading a team of talented practitioners tasked with supporting the development of people, pathways, and systems to enhance the transition of athletes from talented juniors to world class international performers. A consultant trainer for the ICCE and friend of Nittaidai since 2012, John has been involved with NCDA since its inception in 2014 supporting Dr Masamitsu Ito and the NCDA team in the delivery of the academy. As a lifelong coach, John’s interest lies in the human side of coaching and performance, and how best we can support leaders and coaches to become leaders worth following, who create work worth doing, and cultures and organisations worth being part of. ジョン・オルダー氏は、英国に本拠を置き、英国スポーツ協会／イングランドスポーツ研究所（EIS）でパフォーマンスパスウェイ長を務めている。そのなかでは、資質を秘めたジュニア世代のアスリートを世界で活躍できる国際パフォーマーへと育てるための人材開発、パスウェイやシステムをサポートする役割を担う優れた実務家たちのチームを率いている。ICCE（国際コーチングエクセレンス評議会）のコンサルタントトレーナーを務め、2012年から日本体育大学の「よき友」として活動を共にしてきている。NCDA（日本体育大学コーチデベロッパーアカデミー）が2014年に設立されたときから、伊藤雅充教授およびそのチームをサポートして、NCDAの運営に携わってきた。生涯に渡るコーチとして、コーチングやパフォーマンスの人間的な側面に関心を持ち、さらにリーダーやコーチたちが、行うに値することを作り出し、一翼を担うに値する文化や組織を築くことができるような、ついていくに値するような存在になること支援するために自分たちにできる最良のことは何であるかを探求している。ツイッターアカウント @LeadCulturally
Azhar Yusof is the Director of CoachSG at the Singapore Sport Institute; an academy leading the coach education and development in Singapore. He was previously a Senior Lecturer and Assistant Head (Teaching) at the National Institute of Education (NIE) at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He was a former national athlete and represented Singapore in rugby at the international stage. He later went on to pursue coaching and match officiating and was in the Asian Rugby Elite Panel and High Performance Review Panel for many years. He is also a Trainer with World Rugby and does education and training work around the region. He has a background in teaching and taught for many years in schools before joining NIE as an academic staff where he specialised in curriculum, teaching and learning. He is a qualified coach in a number of sports and his experiences in sport has enabled him to lead the coaching education and development efforts well across all sports in Singapore with the aim of raising the value proposition of sport and coaching, and realizing the national goal of “living better through sport”.
アザール・ユズフは、シンガポール・スポーツ協会のコーチ・シンガポールでディレクターを務めている。そのコーチ・シンガポールのアカデミーは、シンガポール国内のコーチ教育と育成を統括している。それ以前には、南洋理工大学にある国立教育研究所で上級講師およびアシスタント長を務めていた。また、過去には国際大会でラグビーのシンガポール代表として活躍した。その後、コーチングと審判の道へと進み、長年に渡りアジア・ラグビー（Asia Rugby）のエリート委員会やパフォーマンスレビュー委員会にも属した。教職にも就いており、さまざまな学校で教えた後に、南洋理工大学に赴任して、カリキュラムや指導や学習を専門とする学術スタッフを務めた。また、複数の競技で公認コーチの資格を有しており、さまざまなスポーツ経験があることでシンガポールのあらゆるスポーツにおいてコーチ教育と育成を先導する役割を担っている。そのなかでは、スポーツコーチングの価値を高めることを目指し、「スポーツを通じてより善く生きる」という国の目標を実現するために尽力している。
Jun Kuroiwa is a professor in sport coaching at Ryutsu Keizai University in Japan. He has been working for the development of rugby coaches as an educator and trainer in the training and development section of World Rugby through the World Rugby education program in Japan. He serves for coaching department section of promotion committee in Japan Rugby Football Union where he is committed to conducting a training session and planning for the coach development. He is also a coach developer and trainer for the official sports coaching license system, which Japan Sport Association newly reformed in 2019, and a mentor of coaches for the world-class coach development program in Japan Sport Council.
黒岩純氏は、流通経済大学で教授を務めている（専門はスポーツコーチング）。World Rugbyのトレーニング・育成部門においてエデュケーターとトレーナーとして、日本におけるWRの教育プログラムを用いたラグビー指導者の育成に務めてきた。また、日本ラグビーフットボール協会の普及育成委員会コーチング部門に所属し、指導者の育成の計画と講習会の実施に携わってきた。その他、2019年から始まった日本スポーツ協会が主催する公認スポーツ指導者制度のコーチデベロッパー及びトレーナー、及び日本スポーツ振興センターが主催するワールドクラスコーチ育成プログラムではコーチのメンターを務めている。
Yoko Matsui is a manager for the Japan Sports Agency commissioned project “Women athletes strategic support program” in Japan Sports Council and conducts women elite coach development program. She had played gymnastics between the ages of 9 and 19, before making her career switch to Freestyle Skiing Aerials and winning her first All Japan Championship title in the fourth year. After retirement in 2002, She became a coach for Japan national team and served as a coach for the national team in the 2006 Torino Olympic Winter Games. After retirement from coaching, she became an assistant director for the talent identification and development support in Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC). She has been working for Japan Sports Council since December 2012. She is also a coach trainer for the official sports coaching license system of Japan Sport Association.
松井陽子氏は日本スポーツ振興センターにてスポーツ庁委託事業「女性アスリートの戦略的支援プログラム」マネージャーとして、女性エリートコーチ育成プログラム等を実施している。9歳から19歳まで器械体操に取り組んでいたが、その後フリースタイルスキーエアリアル種目に転向し、4年目で全日本選手権初優勝。2002年に引退後、全日本チームのコーチに就任。2006年トリノ冬季オリンピック日本代表コーチを務める。コーチ引退後、日本オリンピック委員会（JOC）タレント発掘・育成支援アシスタントディレクターを経て、2012年12月に日本スポーツ振興センターに入職。日本スポーツ協会が主催する公認スポーツ指導者制度のコーチトレーナーを務めている。
